My snails in 2006
As of September 2006 I have the following tanks:
Tank 1:Houses 7 Achatina fulica's some of which might have A.albopicta blood in them as they came from a mixed tank.
It measures 60 x 35 x 40 cm (L x W x H)and is made from plexiglass.It has a 5 cm layer of coir in it with some sphagnum moss,cork bark 
and a branch.

Tank 2:Houses 2 Archachatina marginata ovum and 1 A.m. suturalis.It measures 60 x 40 x 40 and is made from plexiglass.It has a 8 cm layer of coir in it with some sphagnum moss,plastic plants and an upturned terracotta pot.

Tank 3:Houses 4 Archachatina marginata ovum x suturalis and 1 Archachatina degneri(possibly,identity is as yet unconfirmed).The crossbreeds are the young from the snails in Tank 2.The tank is also made from plexiglass but this one has a door in the front.It has a 5 cm layer of coir in it with some sphagnum moss,cork bark,plastic plants and a branch.It's being heated by a terracotta-pot heater.

Tank 4:Houses 3 Achatina reticulata,2 Achatina immaculata,and 1 Achatina iredalei.It measures 60 x 45 x 45 cm,is made from plexiglass and has a door in the front.It has a 5 cm layer of coir with some sphagnum moss,a branch,a house made out of polysterene, concrete mix and paint,and a background made of polysterene,concrete mix and paint. This tank is also being heated by a terracotta pot heater.

Tank 5:Houses 3 Archachatina marginata ovum x suturalis,also the young of the snails in tank 2.It measures 50 x 35 x 40 cm,is made from plexiglass and has a 5 cm layer of coir in it,with some sphagnum moss.A terracotta pot heater provides the heating.

Tank 6:Houses 7 Achatina immaculata and measures 80 x 40 x 40 cm and is made out of glass.It has a 3 cm layer of coir with some sphagnum moss,a plastic pot on its side and a few branches.

Tank 7:Houses 4 adult Achatina achatina,2 young of about 2 cm size,1 juvenile of about 4 cm size and a large number of newly hatched young. It measures and is an old fishtank,it has a 5 cm layer of coir in it with some beech leaves,a large branch and a view Privet branches. The lid has a tube light mounted on it.

Tank 8:Houses 3 adult Archachatina marginata ovum and is an old fishtank.It measures 80 x 40 x 40 cm and has a 8 cm layer of coir in it with some cork bark and a few privet branches. For measurements of my snails go here:Snailmeasurements My weblog can be found here:The snailwatcher's musings
